CartaLinx

CartaLinx is used to create coverages, consisting of the spatial definitions of features in vector format, and associated attribute values files, for export to a GIS. CartaLinx accepts data from a variety of sources, including the use of a mouse as a coordinate input device, CoGo bearing and distance measurements, and any GPS device capable of outputting NMEA1 format data records over an RS-232C cable connection. Over 500 digitizing tablets are also supported through the Virtual Tablet Interface™, sold separately.

Global Data Archives

Each volume within the Global Data Archives is comprised of time series data that are pre-processed for immediate analysis and mapping within the IDRISI Taiga GIS & Image Processing software. Data Archives are available for MODIS Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI 2000 - 2009), AVHRR Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) 1981 – 2000 and 1 Km Global Elevation Model.
