All multi-seat licenses require signed license agreements. Multi-seat licenses are server installation only.
Floating Licenses
The Floating License enables a group of researchers to share the use of one or more licenses. The software is installed on one server or one PC designated as a server, and other users may access it from their own computer. The software cannot be used at the same time by more than one user, though you may purchase additional seats to extend simultaneous use.

Site Licenses
The perpetual General Site License includes permission to use both IDRISI and CartaLinx software on an unlimited number of machines at one physical business site and Technical Support for 24 months. Updates must be purchased, as desired.

Maintenance License
The General Site Maintenance License includes permission to use both the IDRISI and CartaLinx software on an unlimited number of machines at one physical business site on a yearly basis. Maintenance fees are due annually for the continued use of the software. As long as you remain current with your maintenance fees, you will receive upgrades automatically as they are released. This license also includes annual technical support.
The start-up fee provides you with program benefits for the first year. After the first year, institutions are required to pay a yearly maintenance fee (currently $4,500) for a continuation of the license.
