Multi-Seat Licenses for Education

Clark Labs offers three options for multi-seat licenses for educational institutions:  the Student Lab Kit, the Campus license, and the Campus Maintenance license.  All three licenses are available for both IDRISI Selva and the Land Change Modeler. Multi-seat licenses are server installation only. The purchase of a multi-seat license requires a signed license agreement.

Student Lab Kit

This option allows for installation of the IDRISI software on up to 15 machines for student use only.  There is no annual maintenance fee; you pay for the upgrades as they are released.  The license is geared towards an institution with small classes and minimal faculty research needs.

Campus License

The Campus License allows for unlimited single campus use of IDRISI and CartaLinx by both staff and students, Student Starter personal licenses for $39 each (normally $95), and Technical Support for 24 months. This license does not require annual renewal. Updates must be purchased, as desired.  Student Starter licenses must be purchased separately by the students.  They are fully-functional, but time out one year from activation.

Campus Maintenance License

The Campus Maintenance License allows for unlimited single campus use of IDRISI and CartaLinx by both staff and students, Student Starter personal licenses for $39 each (normally $95), free upgrades when available, and 12 months of Technical Support.  The start-up license fee provides benefits for the first year and must be renewed annually for its continued use. Currently, the annual maintenance fee is $2250. Student Starter licenses must be purchased separately by the students. They are full-functional, but time out one year from activation.
