Multi-Seat Licenses for EducationAll multi-seat licenses require signed license agreements. Multi-seat licenses are server installation only. Student Lab KitThis option allows for installation of the IDRISI software on up to 15 machines or the Cartalinx software on up to 10 machines for student use only. There is no annual maintenance fee; you pay for the upgrades as they are released. The license is geared towards an institution with small classes and minimal faculty research needs.
Campus Maintenance LicenseThe Campus Maintenance License allows for unlimited single campus use of IDRISI and CartaLinx by both staff and students, Student Starter personal licenses for $39 each (normally $95), free upgrades when available, and 12 months of Technical Support. The start-up license fee provides benefits for the first year and must be renewed annually for its continued use. Currently, the annual maintenance fee is $2250.
Campus LicenseThe Campus License includes permission to use both IDRISI and CartaLinx software on an unlimited number of machines at one physical campus site and Technical Support for 24 months. This license does not require annual renewal. Updates must be purchased, as desired. Student Starter personal licenses are available for $39 to students attending classes on the campus. Student Starter licenses must be purchased separately by the students. They are fully-functional, but time out one year from activation.
